For this exercise, lie flat on the floor with your knees bent and your hands on the back of your head. Try lifting your torso off the floor to use your core strength to get yourself into a sitting position and repeat the process. This will strengthen your abs and help you build strength.
Planks tone the muscles and keep your whole body moving. Lie on the mat with your head to the floor, and balance your weight on your forearms. Keep your elbows bent and hold this position for about 10-20 seconds.
Stand up straight, and then bend your knees and place your hands on the floor. Push your legs back to get into the plank position. Jump up and stand straight with your hand over your head and repeat.
This exercise will improve your strength and train your core. Lie on the floor and bend your knees. Keep your feet off the floor and hold a ball at chest level and alternately twist your torso to either side.
Lie on the floor with your knees bent. Hold the back of your head with your hands and try to bring your head down to your knees. This will help tone your lower and upper abs and strengthen your abs.
