Harry Potter actor Harry Melling confessed that it is a "blessing" that no one recognizes him anymore.
He is best known for playing the role of Dudley Dursley in JK Rowling's fantasy film series, but he is unrecognizable these days.
The 31-year-old British actor made his debut in the Harry Potter films in 2001 and has since starred in three major Netflix hits – although nobody seems to notice he's the same person.
He appeared in the action movie The Old Guard, the thriller The Devil All the Time and the brand new show The Queen & # 39; s Gambit, all of which aired on the streaming giant's website throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

The actor lost a lot of weight during the filming of Harry Potter, which in his opinion may be the reason why he is no longer as universally recognized by fans.
The actor also announced that he was on the verge of being recast for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1, but he managed to keep his role by wearing a thick suit instead.
He said to PEOPLE, "I think it was an unconscious thing when it started. I went to drama school when I was 18 and the weight shifted there, not for any major need on my part, but it's just something that is right now has happened.
“And I've done a lot and done a lot of theater since drama school. I think one of the blessings of this type of phase in my life was the fact that I was not recognized.
"I had the story of being part of the films, but I also felt like I had the opportunity to create a fresh start, which I find useful."
Since his successful appearance on Harry Potter, the star has appeared in roles on The Lost City of Z and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.

Harry also admitted that he hopes no one will be "bored" seeing his face on their screens.
But he's happy that fans can count on Netflix to keep them entertained during the global pandemic.
